AXLE SHOCKS
WHERE THE DIFFERENCE IS INSIDE
As one of the world’s premier brands of original equipment and replacement shock absorbers, Monroe is synonymous with quality, durability and performance. Each Monroe Magnum axle shock begins with premium materials proven to offer long life in the most demanding operating conditions. Plus, Magnum shocks include a high-temperature resistant sealing system and premium, single-bonded bushing for exceptional durability. In addition, Monroe Magnum axle shocks are engineered to help make the driver’s job easier. Their special double-action valving system operates in compression and rebound to help ensure precise, safe handling characteristics. An anti-wear coated piston ring provides more consistent response as well as extremely high wear resistance. Plus, Monroe engineers selected a semi-synthetic, high-temperature resistant hydraulic fluid that offers excellent damping characteristics over a wider range of operating temperatures.
PROTECT THE SUSPENSION
Monroe Magnum axle shocks also include a special hydraulic lockout piston that prevents over-extension – and resulting damage – of the air suspension bellows in cases of extreme suspension movement. This important design feature eliminates the need for a separate, external suspension droop limiter.
SATISFIED DRIVERS
Attracting and retaining talented drivers is vital to the success of any fleet. Monroe Magnum shock absorbers can help make drivers feel more comfortable, relaxed and in control. An investment in these best-in-class shocks is ultimately an investment in a more satisfied, productive and safe member of your team.
